Description A party of Eastern roman soldiers rallying for counter the opponent.Scene takes part in 6th century A.D in rainy Northern Italy, and it displays the forces of emperor Justinian and his general Belisarius, on the way to the reconquest of former Roman territories. I tried to focus on rainy scene by adding blurry outlines to things that deflect raindrops, as like as the cold- blazed faces of soldiers standing shield by shield covering their bodies. Central figure should have displayed the Belisarius himself, but if we consider his relation to Bucelarii cavalry military body, the had hardly ever appeared as part of a foot squadron.

Roman army then was a mixture of many nations, I mostly use these found in Notitia Dignitatum. Thanks for comment, I appreciate it!
