“Hey (y/n) catch!”

You turned from your spot on the couch in time to catch what Dean had thrown at you.

“What do I want wi—is this Bobby’s?” you said looking down at a battered baseball cap.

“It may or may not be,” Dean said with a smirk.

“Alright, which one of you snot nosed brats took my hat!”

“Dean, you didn’t,” you said with disbelief.

You could both hear Bobby making his way through the back door and Dean began looking for somewhere to hide.

“C’mon upstairs!” he said grabbing your hand and dragging you up the stairs.

After glancing around the second floor, Dean quickly shoved you both into a closet, keeping the door opened slightly so he could see into the hall.

“Do you still have the hat?” he whispered.

“Yes but I don’t see how this is gonna work out. We can’t hide in here forever Dean, the man is a hunter he will find us.”

“We don’t need forever I have a plan.”

“A plan?”

“Yup, ” he said smirking at you.

Bobby could then be heard coming up the creaking stairs.

“Dang kids making an old man walk up stairs. Just wait till I get my hands on those losers. Let’s see if they think they’re so funny when I make them reorganize my murder files. See who’s laughing then,” he grumbled as he made his way down the hall.

You and Dean stayed silent as Bobby went searching through all the upstairs bedrooms. However, it soon became very difficult to remain quiet when various threats and curses could he heard as Bobby tossed things around looking for you both.

“Hey guys?” a very confused Sam called from downstairs.

“C’mon let’s go!” Dean said suddenly as he grabbed your hand again and pulled you down stairs.

“What are you guys doing?” Sam asked as he stood in the doorway holding several drinks and a bag of burgers.

“Hey Sam let us help you with that,” Dean said taking the burgers and handing you the drinks, “Oh but hold this.” He then threw the hat at Sam and you followed Dean into the kitchen.

“It was you!” Bobby yelled as he saw Sam standing there with the hat.

“What?” Sam said looking down at the hat. He then realized what he was holding and looked up at you and Dean with a horrified look.

“Bobby no no this wasn’t me I just got ba—“

“Don’t give me any of that crap boy,” Bobby said snatching back his hat, “You think you’re so funny well ha ha ha joke’s on you. I have three files of unsolved murders that need alphabetizing so get to it!”

“Hey Bobby you hungry?” you said smiling and holding up a foil wrapped burger.

“See kid why can’t you act like Dean and (y/n)? They went out to get everyone food and you’re here playing stupid pranks.”

“Well Bobby, they can’t all be as great as us,” Dean said walking over and handing Bobby his burger. Sam simply death glared Dean and then turned to you with the same annoyed look.

“Boy what are you staring at? Did I not just say there were files that need organizing?” Sam gave one last annoyed looked at Dean and walked down to the basement to endure his punishment.

“Some people huh Bobby….” Dean said, turning to you with a wink, “So immature.”
