Another one! Getting ready to order some prints. I thought these would make some good postcards.I've never done a reflection piece before. Not totally happy with it, but I think I learned a lot.

I'm glad you picked up on the atmosphere that the stylized lines create. The reflection was certainly difficult. I didn't want it to end up looking like a mirror, so I'm relieved to know my viewers think it worked out.

Thank you so much! That's exactly what I was going for. It's much simpler in watercolor though. Woodcarving and prints demand a lot more patience. Maybe I'll try my hand at those someday. ^^ Thanks again.

It's admirable
.... I really don't know what to say about this new style, I love it. It's like a stained glass window..... but yet not. And the colours, they're pretty dull by themselves, but all in all the picture is so lively and vivid...I guess (dull as in, not neon colours lol... orz my apologies>> not-eloquent-human-here)
Is that a raccoon? I'm really good with animals ;o; oh yeah, striped tail and masked eyes, right?

D'aww that's sweet. I always make an effort to respond to every comment. I think it's beyond rude when artists don't. Especially when someone writes a long, well thought out comment. It's like dismissing or ignoring praise/critique and you would never do that to someone's face. At least I would hope not.
Besides, DA is about connecting to the art world and interacting. If you don't want to participate, disable the comments. 
This is just an experimental style. I'm mostly doing it to attract a possibly older audience. Like those who like landscapes, nature paintings, etc, but in my own style of course.

But thank you so much. The reflection was quite challenging. I've never tried anything like it before. I didn't want it to look like a mirror with a crisp reflection, that was the difficult part. I'm glad you think I pulled it off ok.

Another one!! I love this one! X3 I have this big fat raccoon that roams the neighborhood (I thought it was a cat at first, but then it stepped into the porch light and I saw the tail)! It made my cat look like a runt! XD

Oh they are little pests...or rather big pests. I love seeing them though. It's amazing how large they are and yet rarely seen. At least not around my neighborhood in the city.
