Just a quick painting of two kitties I take care of that belong to my neighbors. They are sisters, and the sweetest cats you will ever meet.They were found in a dumpster a few years ago with head trauma and neurological damage. Because of that, they haven't gotten much bigger than kittens and have trouble moving around. Despite all this, they super friendly and so dainty. ^.^ One has gorgeous gold eyes while the other has sky blue so I wanted to show that by adding some watercolor.
This is a gift for the owners because they have taken care of my kitties in the past.

Tea tends to be a fast medium anyway because it's just one color. Most of my other work takes a bit longer

Thank you so much! It's actually painted with tea so it can really only be one color. But I did add a tinge of watercolor anyway

I use many different kinds, but for this one I actually used just one: English Rose and it still smells great

Yes, I just use watercolor paper. I use a low textured paper, about 140-300 pound depending. It helps make the painting look more smooth and tea likes it better

I'm not sure...I know you saw the ones across the street but I don't think you ever saw the cats next-door. They are very tiny and both look like Scotch. XD
