Description
Revamped and more refined sketch.Anthaesia's army is not vast, the Soldiers are rarely seen actively serving in the land. Anthaesia's local lords, their own soldiers, and militia are responsible for defense and security. The Anthaesian Soldiers/government issued soldiers are responsible for fighting off and keeping in check the Euraesian Soldiers at the borderline between Euraesia and Anthaesia.
The Antheasian Heavy Infantry are soldiers of the highest caliber. Armed with skills and knowledge from the war academy along with the Anthaesian full body armor and their signature battlefield hammer-halberd. This troop's combination of gear and practice makes them a significant military force in the battlefield even if they are only few in number. The few hundred members of the Anthaesian war academy soldiers know each other well and treat each other like brothers and sisters.
AHI Armaments:
Battlefield weapon - Anthaesian Battlefield Hammer-halberd government issue variant-4
armor plate piercing cone spear, primary edge war pick + bill hook, secondary edge pointed hammer 1.1 pounds, full steel hollowed pole, hand guard, AP short close-in melee blade.
total weight: 3.6 Kg
Secondary - Anthaesian Standard issue
Pearlite steel, double edged, one handed, steel handle iron wood wrapped, shortened blade.
total weight: 0.8 Kg
AHI Armor:
Half Sallet/skull cover - thinly plated 0.5 mm of true pure mithril over black steel regulated by trusted Anthaesian military authorities, this piece of the AHI's helmet represents Anthaesia's culture of spreading resources as thin as possible without sacrificing the piece of gear's function and quality in that purpose.
Cushioned padding under full chainmail covers with black steel plating, though the armor is not optimized for resisting musket fire the thin mithril plating mixed with the thick padding works well in spreading the energy of an incoming musket ball all throughout each plate and the padding. It will take a whole line of musketeers focus firing one AHI soldier to bring him down, or one direct hit from an explosive or cannon ball. Even if Mithril can resist bending to even an impact of a planet at 0.5 mm thickness, a light piece of Mithril cannot stop the sudden force of a high energy projectile from slamming into flesh.
