Maria Gohaness (pronounced Mahr-yah, not ma-ree-yah) is Anthaesia's "White Death". Ever since she was able to hold a musket, Maria has been interested in and practiced shooting, she entered hunting tours and national shooting tournaments, her father was one of the few male rifle knights of the time who supported the adaptation of the rifles to the standard military and unlike most knights, he was against the prevalent norm at the time that rifles were a coward's weapon in a battlefield of halberds, Mr. Gohaness was one of the few Anthaesians who saw the rifle's deadly potential and feared that the thousand-year-old united kingdoms of Anthaesia would soon be wiped out because of their stubborn resistance of using the weapon.
Maria is one of the millions of women victims of this rifle, born at a time when the united kingdoms were on their last two decades of peace and thrown into the great Thaesian war where Anthaesia has lost almost all its men which included Maria's father. Maria hated the rifle she despised it so much that she refused to wield any other, other than her father's which was both a treasured gift from him and her most prized possession.

Maria having killed many things with the rifle, she knew exactly where to shoot, when to shoot, and how to avoid getting spotted by the enemy whether it be beast or man. Maria knew the land and would always fight 40 to 3 in ambush tactics or hit and run, she was the only rifleman in Thaesia who was ever credited with 900+ confirmed kills from her first years of service at 16 until she went missing at year 486 After Unity /1686 AD, the fall of the nation of Anthaesia at age 18.

Maria Gohaness' Equipment:

De-leo: an Athenias Liberty Rifle AU-436-E , AthLR-AU436 with an extended barrel -

5 cartridge, chamber loaded, 46 caliber, semi-auto firing rifle, the rifle was considered outdated by the more recent Anthaesian rifle standards, but the enemy they were fighting were still using smooth bore muskets therefore still being effective against the common enemy. Unlike its more modern counterparts De-leo was modified by the Knight Gohaness to fit a longer cartridge, the 46 caliber anti-material grade destructive bullets, and the inner cylinder of the barrel including the rifling, chamber and firing pin is modified with ultra thin mithril coating.

Custom crafted Rifle Knight Firefight Armor -
Mr. Gohaness' full suit of armor was used to create the mold for the Firefight armor, the plates were formed from common stainless steel, the outer skin of the plates were coated with at least 1 mm thick pure mithril, the inside was lined with water proof linen padding stuffed with thick sponge effectively protecting the wearer from direct heavy blunt strikes, slashes, and direct hits from musket bullets, the armor was purpose designed for the Euro-anthaesian war. With invincible almost completely covered frontward armor.

Maria purpose picked armor pieces that would be sufficient to completely cover her front when she kneel fires, removing the inner coating leaving unarmored skin bare to help with cooling down since Maria fought in the southern most part of Anthaesia where the summers are hot. Maria gave up the spaulder pieces when she found out one of the other mithril coated rifle knights died because her spaulder's armored colar ricocheted a bullet into her neck at a certain position, Maria learned to shoot with her gauntlets almost covering her shoulders from the front. Along with the helmet no matter what you throw at her that is not explosives Maria will leave bodies in the battlefield without a scratch on her skin.
