Description
Recreation of the Mithril coated full plate armor Anthaesian chivalier knight. The male version was considered for production during the early days of the the Anthaesian United kingdoms, unlike the regular precursor knights the male version was a much more optimistic design, fully encasing everything in mithril coated steel, which included the entire horse.
The knight would have been male therefore the loadout would consider more weight and versatility. The shotgun lance was almost exactly the same as the later 530 AU Long Lance but the tip would have been permanent with a long rod wrapped in ultra thin mithril to keep it stiff as the lance's core shaft. The under-elbow and hip grip design of the weapon originated from this design which is why it is present, but the shotgun was not reloadable because chamber loaded rifles would not have been invented during this era.
Because the prominence of firearms with Anthaesia's enemies during this timeline was rare the efficiency and logistics for the precursor knights were seldom optimized Anthaesia only wanted the precursor knights to be a special use weapon for blasting through invincible lines of enemy spears and shields or to swiftly break down castle gates with a shot and a slam.
Precursor knights were not expected to fight dismounted they were effectively one with their horse like a true mobile blitzkrieg-ing tank.
The concept was never implemented due to the limited mithril supplies being invested in more practical uses elsewhere.
