FINAL IMAGE: [link]Not really a tutorial, more like images of the process. Huge file? xD Sorry about that, guys. It might take a while to load.
1. Pose-- I usually do it in red, blue, or green. I attempt to sketch the basic poses.
2. Clothing & Basic Sketch -- Made Hikaru (the boy) shorter and changed the positioning of the girl's hand.
3. Lineart
4. Clouds -- Not really paying attention to detail
5. Ground -- Painted the orchirds/wheat field
6. Base/Flat colours -- A layer for every colour
7. Shading
8. Coloured the lineart -- Makes it look less cartoonish? Idk
9. Foreground -- Added some wheat at the front
10. Atmosphere -- Some gradients above all the layers in "soft light" mode
11. Final Editing -- Brightness contrast, Colour Corrections, Colour Balence, etc.

Your lineart has to be on a seperate layer, with no white in the background of it (just black lines). Then you click this checkered box in the layer panel, and you can paint it.
