Kristen likes Egyptian art. A lot. So she decided to mimic it.In doing so, I created a set... they're not all "scarabs," but are done in a traditional, Egyptian scarab style. The first is a water strider, holding pearls and representing water. The second is a scarab, holding fire opals and representing fire. The third is a spider, holding ambers and representing earth. The fourth is a locust, holding moonstones and representing wind.
Done in Prismacolor colored pencils and black Pilot Razor Point pen. Border and text added in PSP.
