Description Some watercolor exercises using pictures I found around the house. The one on the left is a fire lily, the one on the right is a bird-of-paradise flower.

Lily is approximately 3.5" x 3", the paradise is about 4" x 3". Done in Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors.

nice detail, but i can see the graying erasure marks the surrounds the flowers, i suggest cleaning em off, or make the background color same as is.

This new one should be okay, if it uploaded properly. I don't mean to sound snobbish, but the gray areas weren't pencil - no pencil was used at all. It's pretty much the grain of the paper, because I usually don't use that fine of a grain. And if that should be cleaned up, well, bugger then. Thanks for the comment, though!
