Description I decided to mess around with some photos in PSP, and here's one of the final products. The picture was originally taken in the summer of 2000... I think where it is is right before entering Zion. I dunno. Southern Utah, somewhere.

I forget what kind of camera. Messed with in PSP.

Dated: Summer of 2000

This is about 30 miles from my home. I truly love it.

I love this shot! the third breaks actually add a certain depth and isolated feel to the image. Good work

It's excellent. A real moody landscape, with some real emphasis in the sky. Great job

I dont know why you split it up either.. It would probably look better as one picture. But on the bright side.. it is a lovely picture.. Did you take it?? Its sharp.. and just fantastic!!!

Yup, I took it. My family drove from Vegas up to Salt Lake City, and we passed through Zion and Bryce Canyon along the way. This is outside of Zion, if I remember correctly.

I really like how you split it into three sections. It's interesting and helps to put emphasis on the rock formation in the center. Very cool ^^

I like the visible grain in the photo + what the first comment said about having something in each part of picture to look at!
The splitting of the image has made me think about making a vertical cam stitch photo

lovely chunk of lanscape! i like the way you've managed to capture something worth looking at in each third of the image, from the derelict machinery in the foreground, back to the funky hills, and then those rather striking cloud masses
did you scan this in from a print? you seem to have managed to pick up a few of those annoying little white flecks, and random bits of fluff that i've never been able to completely get rid of whenever i've tried scanning something at lesat they're barely noticable... better than i can usually manage!
i actually quite like the way you've split it up. not only does it seem to frame that particular hill in the center, but it makes it look like a giant 6-foot 3-pannel print you might see on the wall of a gallery somewhere.

Hey! Thanks for the comment. As to this being a scan, yes, it is. I got rid as many of those flecks as I could, but they always keep coming back to haunt me. I've taken to doing more digital photography, or self-developed black and white pictures (which are going to be flawed no matter what, but that's all in the fun of them). I've heard many opinions on the whole splitting of the picture, and I'm glad to find someone else in favor of it! Thanks once again.

nice photo.
but i can't understand why you have split it up.
