I brought up the exposure me 2/3rds stop + noise reduction is post production.

I live like ten minutes away from here.
I went to Kensington in July, and it didn't seem so pretty then, so you must have a great eye.

Kensington is only good in the right lighting conditions. It's a pretty bland place photographically, but then again I'm not the more innovative photographer, so it takes a little more effort to get a good shot. Maybe others can find a better shot there.
I was also there in July and it was pretty bland.

This picture is an example of that fact.
Besides, most of the lakes and such are too disrupted by the walking paths or people to get a good shot.
My parents insisted upon walking the entire loop of the park on a 90 degree day while I had gotten 4 hours of sleep the night before, so that didn't exactly add to my enjoyment of the trip.

The best time to go is in the winter when steam rises from the lake. It makes for ethereal conditions, though only in the morning.

I really like the colors and the natural framing around the land/waterscape... it's pretty unified in terms of color. I like the starburst of the sun too. I'm a sucker for those. ;D Nice shot.
