Wet on wet is one little trick - you know the technique you used for the background on your "Blooming" painting. (..you did use it there, right? 
Difficult to explain otherwise.. I might have to make a vid one of these days.

after reading this I just have to comment that I once had a cup of watercolor water on the desk, and a cup of coca-cola next to it (I always eat or drink something when I paint

Looking at the tutorial now, I'm thinking I should have taken more photos during the painting process. If I ever make another walkthrough, I might just have to rig up the camera on a tripod and use a remote trigger, so I won't have to interrupt my work every other minute to take a pic. (Which I always forget anyhow..
