Red, Nana, and The Fracking Wolves
“Nana!” Red shouted.
“Semp! Fi!” Nana called, striding out, with her dogs falling in.
“Mornin’,” the Wolf grinned. “My crews got mixed up about the property stakes,” he explained.
“So, what’s the rifle for?” He asked.
“Vermin,” she answered.

This was made for the Red Riding Hood Manip Contest , hosted by Mr-Ripley
It’s a follow up to Red and The Speculator , which was entered in the Drawing Contest : Red Riding Hood , where Red and Nana first meet the lupine agent.
And, a sort of sequel to my first take on the challenge, Red nana 's Condo. (#FoolMeOnce ), where Nana has taken a condo in the city, because the fracking, on the neighbouring property, has contaminated the watershed, and her well water.
Memo: I have no idea why Nana seems to have developed magic powers, in Red nana 's Condo. (#FoolMeOnce ). Maybe, like OUAT [Once Upon A Time], just because?]

Red, Nana, and The Fracking Wolves
“Nana!” Red shouted. “They’re back!”
“Semp! Fi! To me!” Nana called, striding around her cottage, with the dogs in falling in. “Red, behind me,” she directed.
“Mornin’,” the Wolf greeted, grinning widely. “My crews just got a bit mixed up, looking for the property stakes,” he explained.
“They’re the stakes with the flags, over there,” she pointed. “Can’t miss ‘em,” she said.
“So, what’s the rifle for?” He asked nonchalantly.
“Vermin,” she answered.
“Best keep your folk off our property,” Nana cautioned. “Wouldn’t want any accidents,” she said.
“No, no, we wouldn’t” he smiled.
Red watched them leave, tails between their legs.
“Blast it,” Nana muttered. “I never figured they’d flip the property and start fracking, when I severed and sold that bit of the acreage to that damnable wolf agent,” she cursed under her breath.
“Good dogs,” she smoothed their hackles down.
“Let that be a lesson to you, Red. Better to learn now,” she said, keeping an eye on them. “It’s the things that you don’t suspect that always come back to bite you.”
