After making my Ghost Howrse, I looked through my list of other Howrse coat ideas I had rolling around in my head. My BFF on Howrse mentioned to me about a black & white coat idea someone tried making, but she thought I could sorta improve on, hehe. Well, Howrse recently opened a new, temporary item that puts one of 5 different elements randomly; Fire, Earth, Air, Water, and Metal, the last of which is the rarest and gives the best bonuses. So, I decided to combine the ideas for a "Fire & Ice" piece, lmao.I'm hoping to come out with an "Earth & Air" mix and maybe even something with all four? So many ideas, so little time!!! So, there is a rumor going around that the "official" Black Pearl should be opening up soon, so then I'll be able to post the rest of my coats, not just that one Ghost Howrse for the contest.

This is a neat idea.
Having fire and ice together would be a hard way to live though.
I love the mane, all of the colors of fire in there really make it stand out.

I'm glad you like the mane because I went through a few different versions before I finally got one that actually looks like fire, lmao. Can you tell it was my first time attempting fire? LMAO

You're welcome ^^ Yes, balancing yourself would be kind of difficult. It turned out really well - I can't draw fire to save my life, so I know it's not an easy thing to draw! lol But the mane really did turn out well, the blue flames mixed in with the red and orange really show just how hot a horse he is XD

I ended up getting one of those fifth element packs and it slapped an air element onto my Friesian...looks pretty, but once again an individual artist has blown Howrse graphics away and out of the water. Amazing job on this one, as well as on the ghost horse. Good luck in the competition!

Hehehe, I'm saving up the few passes I have left that I earned through my current GA coats for when the next BP opens, so, I won't be getting a 5th Element for a horse, lol. I just can't see spending 2 passes on it for a random chance, especially since the ugliest one (Earth) is the most common, lmao. Grats on your Air!

I don't play the game too seriously, so the passes I get every thirty days or by chance kind of sit and rot until I decide to waste them. xD Can't wait to see your BP coats hit the water though. Oh tell me about it, I was so afraid I was going to get Earth. XD But sometimes you get lucky--snagged a fire elemental off the private sales for a relatively small amount of money...horrible affix though. :/ Oh well...

Hehehe, I took a long break, until my account was about to be deleted just from not logging into it for months, and ever since I came back, I've been playing casually, but mostly just focusing on making these coats so that I can earn passes through them.
My goal is to somehow and someday earn enough passes to keep up and be a part of a breeding team on Howrse,

Yeah, that's one of the cooler features about it, the coats...I just can't be bothered to worry about earning/buying passes. Wouldn't it be a novelty to have an online game that never asked for cash? XD Of course they have to keep themselves running somehow, but it seems like there's always two levels to any game: the level you can hit by utilizing the organizational/strategical skills, and the level you can hit by blowing twenty something dollars on a bunch of passes/tokens/higher currency. :/

Hehehe, that's why I find it fun to almost "exploiting" the system, lmao. So, to submit one Black Pearl coat is 4 passes. That one coat can then earn you up to a maximum of 40 passes. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I just increased my passes 10-fold, LMAO.
Now, earning those first 4 passes did take time, but since the BP wasn't open for a while, I used that time wisely. Worked on the Achievement system and got passes through that, bought passes with equus every 30 days, those sorts. Hehehe, it's fun

I've thought about taking that method but I almost end up just deciding to chill out and have fun with whatever I've got on my account. XD Just not cut out for ambitious projects. But that's really a good method...bet you had no problem doing that. XD

Thinking up my unique ideas is the most time-consuming, hehe. I feel that I'm getting much faster at actually making my artwork (thanks hugely to my shiny new tablet, hehehe) so the actual making of the horses is pretty easy, since that's all I ever draw, anyway, lmao.

I got that feeling too when I got my tablet hooked up. XD It's like a "Oooh, I'm playing with big leagues tools here better step it up a notch" mentality. XD

I wish I had an elemental horse, but I just absolutely need to save what few passes I have for the next BP that comes out so that I can actually afford to submit all the coats I've made so far, hehehe. Besides, I don't feel right spending 2 passes on just a random chance at an element, the only nice one is metal and it's extremely rare to get, and the ugliest, Earth, is the most common,

Hmmm.... well, i want to submit some of my "coats" too...but donΓt know who? What do you mean... Midnights Moonlight, Dreamcatcher or Prince? When i redo (with my own lines) my other charakters Operette, Sahara or Nightshade?
