Layers for this coloring? I printed it out on a piece of sketch paper and colored with colored pencils,
And yes, you can color the original line art as long as you give me credit for the lines and send me a link to your finished piece,

I was surprised when there weren't any comments on that one.. and I showed it to my sister who mentioned that the key should have been green to blend in more like a stem and trick the eye more. I was thinking that too but I like the key being more obvious.. I dunno, I like both ideas

That's a good idea she has going there and might spark a slit update, hehe. I still mean to go back and color this digitally, so I'll play around with more blending ideas to help merge the rose and key as one in the same.
