been awhile since I've done an outfit line for Ripper.this one is for "Schools Out"...which may as well be called "alternate outfit" because why would wearing whatever you want outside of school be a big deal when you can already wear whatever you want at school??
either way this was more practice with the MH style. I've decided that I'm gonna try and stick close to official art work poses until I'm comfortable enough with the style to branch out more. and it's been so long since I'd done Ripper and seriously attempted the style...I think it's come a long way from my humble beginnings at attempting the MH style...I think my perception of reality was broken those first few weeks.
it's fixed now though and I hope it shows!

I LOVE this outfit on her; it's so cute! Long pants look really cute on her and the Monster High (I think?) top is adorable! :3 You did a fantastic job on the style, I think; using official artwork for pose and style reference is a good idea. C: I adore her handbag!

would you lose all respect for me if I told you her color scheme was an accident?... I always LOVED Purple and Yellow together ( the lakers uniforms were my envy as a kid) I could not foresee they would go SO well with her dark skin and orange eyes.

I'm aware that "schools out" is supposed to be their summer outfits, but when the girls are wearing things like thick sweaters, [link] pants, coats and longer skirts - [link] and wearing more clothing in general than they normally do it does not really have a summery feel about it.

I think you're getting better and better with the MH style! The pose fits perfectly with the official art ones.
Also, I like Ripper's clothing style. It doesn't have to be overloaded with fashion/colors/accessories to look good!

Btw, are you planning to draw Karen's "school's out" style? I think the two of them contrast a lot, since Ripper wears few yet fitting accessories, while Karen puts on the whole fashion shop's goods...

I would LOVE to do more outfits for Karen, especially schools out. but since her outfits are so involved they take longer to come up with.

I love her design, and I have to admit, never tried yellow and black with brown and purple combo. Nice colours! Quite punk looking, I'd say. Love it ^^
