For the weekly concept art contest at Wc3c.

Theme: Battle Droids

Concept: Melee battle droid that expells a weird orange fog from his tubes to fool the enemy's sensors (nod to Orange Agent). He then charges or sneaks up on his prey for the kill.

Tried alot of stuff. But I finally decided to keep it simple to not detract the viewer's attention too much. Sketched in 2b mechanical pencil and scanned, played with levels of the lineart after colouring it in a messy manner (screwed my layers up). But overall, I really like this one even if its similar to my other droid picture. I had a common reference which was Feng Zhu.
