Personality

Strengths

Maple's training as a sled dog left them with many strengths. Highly Adaptable, Loyal, Kind Hearted, and Stealthy. What might confuse someone is how they learned the art of stealth from being a sled dog? Well they were trained to be a steer, one of the fastest dogs on the team, this also makes them the best hunter. Their light footedness and carefulness allows them to be undetected by prey and dogs alike. But every strength must have a weakness. Maple's big heart compels them to help anyone and everything, even if it's a rival pack member. Their ability to adapt also allows them to go periods of time without food or water, which puts a strain on their strength.

Weaknesses

Due to their mistreatment during puphood, it caused Maple to form some habits. Since they were a pup, Maple has always been a curious little tike, but this left them wondering off majority of the time. Maple's introverted nature left them to be noncommunicative and always on edge, which can sometimes give their position away. Their stubbornness not only makes them a outspoken dog, but also one to put the pack in danger because of it.

Pre-group History:

Maple was bred to be a part of one of the best sled dogs team. But being the runt of the litter left them to be bullied the most. Their littermates eventually turned into teammates. Though they were all siblings, there was next to no love between them. Everything was a competition to them, and they would to anything to be the top dog of the team. Maple quickly learned to just stay quiet and make themselves as invisible as possible. Thanks to this, it allowed them to be left with very few injuries, however it also gave them a form of trauma that may follow them for the rest of their life. On a spring morning, the dogs were set free from their chains and allowed to explore a little. They were to never go far from home and to never pass the river. But being Maple, the lone dog ventured further into the woods, past the river they were forbidden to cross. It was the first time they experienced freedom. Freedom away from training. Freedom away from their cruel teammates. Wanting to chase the feeling, Maple eventually strayed too far. They were now lost and scared, and a little thrilled. It was too late to go back, so they went forward, deeper into the woods.
