Color/Patterns: Dexter is a borwn merle with pink undertones. The brown parts of his body are shaded with soft sand like pigment in his softer areas. Although his coat is mainly brown, Dexter has big splashes of white. His right is light brown while the left one is pale blue. This combination sometimes gives a intimidating feeling, although his jolly behaviour makes it ignorable.

Body Structure/Particular features: The merle male has a few scars that he achieved in a small fight with a former friend. Both his ears got ripped, and along his stary life- a few other dogs messed his body up. He has scars on his right shoulder, and a few on his maw. And although he is a mix of a tall dog, the male still isn't the tallest, but rather stocky like his bully side of the family. His shoulders are broad, so is his head hips. Although his stomach curves in, making him seem buff, and rather shorter than he actually is. He isn't one to be considered as lean.

Dexter always comes towards a fellow member with a friendly attitude, he isn't a judgemental character. Whether the dog is big or small- he still treats them as his equal- this was a trait he developed since young. After being in the pack for a while, Dexter had also grown to be very caring, especially to the one he sees as a friend. It's not hard to get along with him, as he's a positive dog, that will care for you deeply- it's just about treating him right- as he doesn't ask for much. He may come off as a goofy optimist, yet this is one of his better sides- or even if he feels like giving up- Dexter wants to be positive, and tries not to affect the others when he's in a bad mood. Although being a people pleaser is seen as something bad, Dexter truly just wants his close ones to be alright. Moreover, he is highly loyal to those he chooses to stick around with, and wouldn't betray a dog he considers a friend. He's faithful and honest- of course, he may sometimes say a white lie, which is rarely, as he's not the one to be quick at making up stories. Hence, he does best with only a few, but close friends.

Moreover, the merle is little shy, or rather have a tendency to be awkward- he stills love to have short chats- about everything and nothing. He truly doesn't like being alone, and may come off as nosy to some- while in reality he's just a curious young dog that wants to see and learn. Yet- he's only talkative when it's clear the other dog doesn't know what to say- or where to start. The male is also very direct, which comes along being honest. When he's bothered, he won't lie about it- and as long as it doesn't hurt your feelings- he will come forward with it. Last but not least- he's very stubborn, and hard to change.

Dexter isn't oblivious to facts, sadness, or issues, but rather some gestures, where he doesn't cope well with being flirted with for example- he isn't a witty dog- and doesn't really charm his way in. In the past, he has encountered a few dogs that may have been teasing him, which wasn’t something he had noticed. Though in general he's alright with social cues. The male is also possessive of the ones he truly cares about, and dislikes leaving them, or even sharing with others. He may come off as clingy, or shower you with too much attention. And although he is a positive soul, Dexter gets easily discouraged, and when he fails more than once- he gets frustrated with himself and doesn't always want to continue, it’s sometimes hard for him to fulfil a task. Dexter isn't a graceful dog, and may come off as messy- which he may be from time to time. He's quirky and overprotective, after being a guard dog of a family, he achieved his protectiveness after spending plenty of time with the family's kids.

Pre-group history:
He was bred specifically for this one family. A family of four. Two sons, a mom and a dad. Bred both for the looks and skills. The pair owned a big house on a street, with a medium yard. But after they got robbed once, they decided to get a semi guard dog and train him themselves. Looking for a calm dog, the lady choose him mainly due his one memorable trait- the light blue eye, really lacking much interest in his behaviour, although they were lucky he was a collected canine. Children immediately fell in love with the puppy and called him Dexter after the cartoon character, meanwhile the father after a murder police character.

As days flew by, Dexter got his training, really loving his family and life. He was a playful young pup, but was struggling as a guard dog from the beginning, he was too docile and lacked concentration. Well beloved by the neighborhood. From a puppy he was well socialized with both people and animals. And due to this he made a terrible house guard. Not only struggling with the task, he also was very dominant and lacked mainly everything from the list. Thus to loving him very much, they needed a dog that will watch their home, also knowing that their companion needed better trainers who were more suitable.

So after owning him for more than a year, they decided to sell him and buy a adult dog with the proper training. Children crying as he left, made a scar in him, in one day everything was lost. Therefore he became later on very possessive. As he arrived at his new home, the person was kind with a bigger house and no neighbors at all, it was on the country side, giving him full access to the softer side of wild life. It was then when he gained his idiotic idea. Why not run away? Still upset after his family left him. Doghouse outside, made his plan easier. At night he sneaked out to the forest where he never was before.

Wandering around, almost running because he of course didn't want to be found, after two weeks he came across the wolf-like dog. They did not become friends, but Dexter promised the other one to behave. Afraid of being alone, or knowing that he owned zero knowledge of what so ever was going on in the actual wild life, he bugged the other hound to let him join him and help him out. A young dog, and a hot headed loner. Always arguing, until one day when Dexter tried to show dominance over the older dog, which ended up with three scars, on his snout, chest and ears. Without hesitation Dorian pushed his confidence to the ground and they never spoke again.

Learning his lesson's, to never try to over power some with more experience, thus that, he became slightly shy when meeting somebody new. Whatever happened, Dexter was still a very social dog, and after all this time he was strolling around in the forest. Until one day stumbling over to the Dunkle pack. Immediately wanting to join and heading to the Alpha.
