"Nine faces" by "Towards Darkness"A quick shufti through the interwebs shows that Towards Darkness' genre is considered "funeral doom metal".
Sounds apropos.
I really like all the little details here as Fairy-Slayer mentioned. The little bloodstain on the (glaive? halberd?) is a "nice" touch; subtle, but speaks volumes that this is definitely a Bad End.

To be honest, at first I didn't see the upper end/handle of her weapon and had written "sword" in my comment.

It's so creepy and dark yet exceptionally beautiful in its own foreboding way. Nightmare Moon looks spectacular as she collects herself so calmly, thoughtfully, after her brutal victory. She looks amazing and powerful, stately even if wicked. Even the textures on her coat and feathers, while rich and fantastic, feel rough and unpleasant. Then her astral mane and tail are as impressive as ever and, though beautiful, highlight her own dark presence. Her armor is gorgeous, with beautiful effects for the metal and awesome work on such stylish intricate details, plus the way the light plays off of it. Lovely work on the column and other ruins of the castle too.
That glaive is one mean looking piece of work, but also fantastic (even awe-inspiring) in its deadly look. The design is terrific, especially the NMM stylizations with a touch of the dendriform that's so prevalent in Equestria. Though obscured by her magic, even the handle is quite impressive. The droplet and mere traces of blood are very subtle but extremely effective; Twilight's tiara and the other crushed remains of the Elements of Harmony bring out the full dread of the situation.
Awesome – if terrifying – work. Thanks for sharing.

It looks really good, but you might have gone too strong with the dark tones. Even with a properly calibrated high-nit IPS, details are getting almost completely erased in the darkest parts.
While this might have been the intent, the result is me staring at the dark parts trying to make out details that my eyes expect to be there based on the detailing on the well-lit parts and getting frustrated.

I tried to make dark tones not so strong, but when I lightened it more, the main idea of a gloomy scene became less clear. So I made it as it is.
