Finally I've finished a new colored picture. Tried some new tricks again... And I just love the result!Work in progress
There is a super cute story about Sweetie Bot, called Thunder Struck by .
This fic is not finished yet, but it is surely worth to read.

Так уж получилось, что каждый мой знакомый хотя бы раз кинул мне этот арт, и совершенно случайно я пишу фанфик, в котором Свити Бот является одним из главных персонажей. Поэтому я просто не смог пройти мимо и не оставить комментарий, который как-то сам собой разросся в целую рецензию.
1. Идея. Идея совершенно шикарная. Даже если бы ты нарисовал эту картинку карандашом на салфетке, она была бы отличной. Некоторые мои особо креативные товарищи уже насочиняли всяких фантазий на эту тему (в основном, чернушных, но что поделаешь). Признаюсь, мне не приходила в голову идея о том, что Свити может быть настолько сильно зависима от своего... хозяина?
2. Исполнение. Металлические поверхности выглядят полированными, отражения в глазах на отлично, грива легко представляется сделанной из искусственного меха, которым оторачивали некоторые советские игрушки. Сколько времени ты убил на разработку шарнирных соединений? Достаточно одного взгляда, чтобы понять, какая конечность куда может двигаться, включая уши.
3. Поза. Наверное, самое эмоциональное тут - это поза. По-собачьи пригнутые задние ноги, приопущенное словно от усталости веко, опущенные, опять же, уши - язык тела тут на пять с плюсом, на мой взгляд. Кстати, сходство провода с поводком наводит на мысли, что у тебя дома живет собака.
4. Свет. То, что правый край рисунка в тени, создает зрительное впечатление угасания, удачно так подыгрывая общему настроению. Без такого градиента было бы хуже.
В общем, маленький шедевр. Придраться тут можно только к каким-то моментам, связанным с перспективой или композицией рисунка, но это будут действительно придирки, которые может увидеть только наметанный глаз практикующего художника.

Не скажу, что на шарниры ушло много времени, отдельно я их не разрабатывал. Они вообще, как и многое тут, "получились сами". Изначально была только идея, что колено и плечевой сустав будут именно металлическими и безо всяких крышек. А их форма сложилась за пару проб-итераций.
Про собаку не угадал. Я их вообще, если честно, недолюбливаю
P.S. как допишешь фанфик, дай знать - я бы почитал.

В принципе, все, что у нас осталось от ФоЭ - это пресловутые Стойла, ПипБаки, да, пожалуй, Министерства.

Если ты знаешь, что такое Фоллаут, то ты наверняка автоматически знаешь, что такое компьютер PipBoy (в наручном исполнении) и Убежища. Просто с легкой руки Ккат им дали немного другие названия, на лошадиный лад.

Ну, если идея о насилии, некотором количестве страдания и вообще идея о воюющих пони тебя не отпугивает, то FoE - это чуть менее чем гениальная вещь. Ее портит только слегка скомканный конец. Самое главное - это та чудовищно скрупулезная работа, которая была проведена, чтобы уместить в одной книге почти все существовавшие на тот момент пони-мемы, и как можно больше отсылок ко всем частям Фоллаута сразу (включая дополнения к новым играм); причем сделано это было так, что в итоге получился не сборник мемов, как у некоторых бесталанных авторов, и не склеенные две раздельных вселенных, а своя собственная вселенная, со своей, уникальной предысторией. То есть в ФоЕ родились собственные фишки, которых нет ни в Фоллауте, ни в каноне. Оставалось только добавить сверху живых и интересных персонажей, с чем Ккат справилась на отлично. То есть несмотря на огромный размер, в книге всего ровно столько, сколько надо... Ну, может быть, чуть-чуть слишком много рефлексии, но я это списываю на наш суровый русский менталитет; все же Ккат - американка.

I have to say the idea is great and original - my first reaction was a "Brilliant!" kind of thing which is pretty rare considering I was physically smiling while I was saying it. The idea of a metal Sweetie Belle is not only an original favorite of the public but a great idea in general that proves you're a good artist that knows what they're doing.
After I recovered from the initial shock I started inspecting further, trying to find your specific style reflected in your art. I already knew you knew what you were doing so I was shocked to discover I couldn't tell whether you were going for a realistic look or a painted look however when I stepped back and looked at it in retrospect, you still did an excellent job in blending the two styles.
At this point I was starting to get frustrated that I couldn't find anything you could improve on so I looked deep and found something small: your lighting. While I'm not entirely sure if you were going for the painted look (which would fit with the bland lighting mainly on the front of the face) or if you were looking at a more realistic style (which I think you'd be great at) then add a bit more reflective property.
Advice: Try either going a bit more realistic or a bit more paint style next time. Also for a robot - even if it's a ponybot - try using a bit more metal features like a less curvy ear and try to smooth out the paint lines just a small bit more.
Unless of course everything I criticized is exactly what you wanted, in which case - you achieved your goal, nice job.

Originality: 5 Stars I'm sure some people have thought of this before but the idea is still original and you brought your own brilliant twist to it.
Technique: 4 Stars Again, still unsure whether the pendulum was supposed to swing closer to the paint or real side but I think a bit more smoothness is in order to find the perfect balance.

Overall: 4.75 (not actually calculated, this is my personal overall rating) nice job.

Well I tried to include that when I said try to make smoother lines but I'll be sure to clarify that next time
I also left something out, I wondered what was up with the joint on her front left leg, it had different sections of white and I wasn't sure whether it was supposed to be some sort of odd reflection or just a candycane design.
Again, you did a really nice job - keep it up!

Actually I try to make my pictures more and more realistic. But in this case I liked these colors so much, so I just couldn't reduce the saturation. In result it look a little bit more cartoonish, but I think it's ok.

We dont have multiple physical genders. All changelings are the same physicaly, we're like ants, we reproduce asexually using emotions of our loved one to trigger self-fertilization. We do howeaver have a gender Identity, hence why some of us say we are male and others as female. (This also means we tend to pick male or female forms to use)
