HAWT. How many polys? How big of a texture map? How the HELL did you UV it? XDD

Thanks!

6009 polys(subpatches)
Done in Lightwave.
1024x1024 texture maps(color,bump,normal).
I did a simmetrical UV ,deleting a half of the body and trying to keep it clear so that the details could be seen.
I sculpted the model and exported the normal, but it was somehow "ruined" and ,since I had exhausted my patience,I used automatic UV. I'm not proud of it! The texture inmage is a mess, but the result is acceptable for a no budget fanfilm.

So, most of the bump map is made in Lightwave using combined displacement maps.

Lightwave? Haha, wow! I could never use lightwave for an organic model. 8P And it's only 1024? It looks very good for being 1024. ^ ^

wow, that sounds so sad. I've done that to my models too. 8\ It still looks fine though! Have you ever used Silo for UVing? it's awessssome.
