Description
I hate leaving things undone, so I whipped this up from an earlier sketch, redone from the ground up. I also wanted another crack at drawing Rainbow Dash.Tails is Tails.

With a distinct sense of dread, Tails would soon realize that not only did two Sonics seem to inhabit the same sphere as himself at this moment, but this one happened to be airborne, and particularly eager to prove herself the fastest thing in the skies... one way or the other, he knew this would not end well.
Rainbow Dash, for her part, was mostly perplexed by the flying fox's method of remaining airborne; how in the name of Celestia did he get his tails to DO that?

Seriously though, this be hilarious. I love how perplexed they are by eachother, and Rainbow you've gotten spot on. I notice how you keep FIM's artistic style of coloring the bodie's outlines a deeper shade to the pelt's hue; nice touch.

Though knowing COA Tails, he'd try and weaponize the rainboom somehow. aka: the "orbital friendship cannon" meme would become real. Something like that would actually be pretty useful in COA, too.

I'd say its about equal, with Dash probably being a bit more surprised, if only because of all the utterly strange things Tails has run into before: Death Eggs, badniks, androids, ghosts, dragons, ... Knuckles. OTOH, "flying fox, wtf?" How IS he doing that?

I should have realized it was only a matter of time before you mixed these two universes. Very nice pic though you've gotten really good at these pics and you draw some amazing looking ponies.

Thanks man, and yeah, I had to do at least one crossover pic like this, having already done so many other less obvious ones.
I like to think I'm improving with every sketch and line vector I do, and maybe even the effect will bleed over a bit into better Sonic related pics. The only thing I'm reluctant to try and line vector entirely for is a 'human' type pic, where I need the fine lines and details. Even then, I've line vectored at least one such pic years ago (the Mya one).
I'd say it took about 5 base sketches to work out the peculiar way these ponies are shaped. From there it was just refining the digital processes post-scan. I've got so much on my hands, now, though, its crazy.
