Description
I dedicate this to :3She's seen and loved the original Juice, which only ever appeared in my sketchbook and so I did an improved one for her. (Yeah, I'm still on my 'oldstuff' kick) Juice is an apple boy that I think was inspired by Gerling's song Death to the Apple Girls He's a bit of a loner. Not really by choice - he's just shy and embarrassed about being an apple.
It turned out how I wanted it to. The day is supposed to have one of those strange feelings about it. Like, the feeling before a thunderstorm. That brewing energy... you know...? I don't know if I managed to get that, but it works for me. :3
And for those of you that are hanging out for another chibi, there are some one the way. >_>;

I love his little head! Well, it's not little... but still. You know what would be superly cute? A whole fruit bunch. ^^ But he'll be the only green apple in it an' he'll feel all weird and... *goes off on a fruit tangent* But I love his little body! Just the body language shows how shy and alone he is, and the atmosphere around him kinda gives off this feeling like a storms gunna come. Like that one little calm before the storm... I hope you were going for that. ^_^;; *is kinda dense*
...I'm really craving some fruit now. But I couldn't possibly eat him. He's just so adoribibble! You just want to hug him, then push him off the ledge. XD I'm so mean. You should make a little comic with him falling off and then a little kid in an applesauce factory trying out a new green apple flavour. I'm such a cruel person. But that *would* be funny, you gotta admit that. XD
I bet you could take the scariest possible thing and make it totally adorible. You could probably take the scariest character from the scariest movie and make everyone on DA go, "LEIKOMGWTFBBQKAWAIII!!!11one1!" ^_~

I've thought about doing a whole fruit bunch but never really got any further than sketches. I think I sketched a banana. :3 The calm before the storm is *exactly* the feel I was going for! I'm glad you could pick that up. I wanted to try and capture that sort of oppressive calm.
I also drew a little comic thing of him having fallen off the wall and having his head all squished up/apart. Our minds seem similar.

That thing is really cute. Reminds me of humpty dumpty sat on a wall though. i hope little apple man doesn't have such a dramatic ending though ^^ I really like the subtle colouring of the sky!
