I think the mangle did, there's date 1987 on the pay check in FNaF 2, the "old" animatronics are deactivated, it leads to mangle as quilty for bite of 87'. Foxy's innocent!

I always thought that foxy caused the bite of 87 but heres a thing since the animatronics the toy versions were dismantled and old foxy was not and the toy version of foxy her attack is from the rooftop and I really think that toy foxy was the cause of 1987 because why would they keep the old gand and not the new one if old foxy caused the bite of 87

It's most logic that mangle caused the bite, seeming it's in 1987 when fnaf2 plays.
and it's shown the original animatronics are out of order then, making it inposible for foxy to cause it if he isn't active then.
