Apparently I really do! Do you have any idea how much easier it would be to give people beds if I could to that!?
Especially for 'The Castle' settlement. It doesn't take much to fill that sucker up to the point where it won't let you build anymore.Β

Oh man. Ooooooh man you are gonna have fun.Β
Did you notice the green grass and trees? Mod. The concrete buildings? Mod. The neon signs itself? Total mod.Β
The best mods are the ones that shave off the limitations - remove the carry weight and build limits, unlock all the previously locked settlement options, improve companion AI so they don't miss 60% of their targets, make it so the power suit jet pack's don't waste your AP, cleaner textures to prevent glitching, make the settlers less stupid and actually wear the armor and weapons you put in the workshop for them, etc.Β
There's a mod that changes the seasons, mods that turn Dogmeat into a pug, mods that let you fuck Nick (finally), mods that turn all mini nukes into babies, all kids of shit.Β

I'd love the ones that let you scrap EVERYTHING that's broken.Β
Like, for crap's sake! Why do I have to build on top of or around this giant pile of junk?! Why can't I just scrap it and build on the flat surface underneath?! WHY CAN'T I MOVE DEAD PEOPLE/CREATURES OUT OF MY SETTLEMENTS PERMANENTLY?!?!?
I want one so I can NAME my settlers!
I can have concrete buildings already, through the Mechanist quest. I prefer them, as they are sleeker and solid, compared to the scrap houses. Neon signs I got through Nuka World. I can even build robots and vault-tech buildings (Mechanist, Vault 88).Β
Companion aim would be nice. I swear though, I've started SHOOTING my companions when they shoot me. I don't have the perk where they can't hurt me yet, and DANG IT ADA,YOUR WEAPON MAKES ME BLIND FOR 10 SECONDS, SO DON'T FREAKING SHOOT ME!!! I've shot her point blank, right as combat was about to end, because he made me blind and I missed shooting the bad-guy, which meant I missed out on the exp for it!

Oh yes the "scrap everything" mod is the second one I got. Green grass and trees first, then scrap.Β
There is a naming settlers one but it's not for PS4 for some reason.Β

I could do with one that makes it so if I change a settler's job, it doesn't UNASSIGN EVERYONE ELSE!!!
I have to go back and reassign food production and shopkeeper jobs to everyone all over again!

Shit that happens sometimes. Like today, I figured out I could assign robots as food-growers when dicking around at Croup's Manner. Make a Mr. Handy or whatever, assign it to some corn, and bada bing more food.
I try the exact same fucking thing at Abernathy and it doesn't work. now I have a ton of robots wandering around. Glitches, yo.Β
Also, Pro-tip: Use robots as your supply line traders instead of settlers. Saves a WHOLE lot of headache.Β

I did something similar with my third play-through. Β The Pirate Queen Scarlett is also fond of her name in neon and elaborate armaments, but goes for more of a raider chic vibe. Β The main sanctuary house looks better as the center of an industrial castle-boat thing.
