Description
I thought a lot of folks out there could benefit from learning how to with introverted people.I drove my ex crazy by being introverted. He thought that I was being "distant" and "purposely ignoring him as part of a passive-aggressive power play". Here I was just enjoying his company without talking.

Thank you!! Most people think that introverts are just nerds or depressed or whatever, but this is a good way to describe them accurately.

Errr...I think I'll just stay away from introverts. I used to be like that myself buuuuut It got lonely because I was not the kind of person people wanted to approach or get to know about. I had to learn to gain energy from social interaction. Either that or be by myself. So an introvert would just find me irritating even if I wanted to talk to them. I know because the old me would find the new me as someone with way too much energy.
Though sometimes I do still have moments where I just need to be by myself

It really is all about energy. I love my extroverted friends but some of them just try way too hard to interact. I leave their houses with a giant sigh of relief.

as an introvert myself i dont exactly view all extroverts as obnoxious predators the way i see it there are two types of extroverts; positive and negative. negative ones are loud and obnoxious predators like you say who have no respect and are generally rude. positive extroverts are very friendly and bright people who can bring me out of that bubble of introversion
cuz like you said sometimes introverts do get lonely, and sometimes its difficult to come out of that hamster ball under my own power x3
but some of the friendliest people i've ever met were extroverts who pushed me to come out of that hamster ball (if only for a while) and interact am grateful i've encountered people like that in my life, even if its total strangers who do that
(just today i was at the laundry mat and some older lady started talking to me about how expensive the vending machines were, and that lead to a long conversation about all sorts of things like how we both were new to the town and moved here from the same part of the state, etc...) i get tingles inside thinking about how awesome people actually are when i'm pushed outside of my hamster ball
so being an introvert doesnt mean you have to view all extroverts as the negative type, or refuse to talk when you're around other people. most extroverts tend to be positive from my experience, you just have to view the slight "push" to come out as a good thing (unless they shove, then thats probably a red flag for a negative type extrovert ) from my experience talking to extroverted people, even strangers, is well worth the price and can actually result in received energy
if only for a while x3

This made me realise that I'm likely an introvert. Everytime I spend a day with other people, usually need a couple days after that to 'recharge'.

So, can most people be put into the category or extrovert or introvert? Because I feel like I'm in the middle ground. :0

Same actually. I don't think the issue is that black and white though. I feel like there's some sort of grey area.

I believe that's called ambiversion. An ambivert uses both social interaction and solitude to recharge.

actually it's called heterotypical neuroqueer. I happen to be an expert in psychology and gender studies and can tell you that this is the politically correct term for hamster ball people
