See here's the thing about that. That was entirely normal for the time and place of this experience. If you know of no other options then the one given to you, it's near impossible to not immediately gravitate towards the known solution. As humans, our base natures are founded on carnal drive and a lust for "pack" dominance. Really human beings are no more special then the first morons to make it this far up the evolution chain, we are mentally nothing more than beasts with thoughts of nonexistent grandeur.
Blaming people from other times for actions that were normal is absurd. This "thug" described in the above comic was doing nothing more than the things he was payed for and knew how to do. Calling him spiritually immature is like if 60 years down the line, people called the people of now "thugs" because we used the internet and written language for similar tasks. This guy was just doing what he knew to do: smack the farmer girl until she either payed up or left the area. He's not a thug, he's the norm for his era.

I THINK it's a reincarnation.
I had this as a dream. It was more of a "feeling" than anything solid. The more I meditated (was that meditation? I honestly don't know what the word is for staring at a wall with a blank mind and letting the idea float around in my head, waiting to see what happens) on the feeling the more certain details came to me.

Wow...This is so interesting...Thanks you, I've been thinking about the my own "past memories" the ones I told you about, the mountain one I can remember the best...I think it was "the life before this one" it's actually really scary...You're stuff is WAY more interesting then mine.

Sure, I was on a mountain, a don't know what I look like, but I think I was a young man. It wasn't to far back in the past, my camping equipment suggests early 70's late 60's maybe, I'm not sure where this mountain is, but it's thick with trees. Something happens, and I start feeling weak, and it's hard to move. Suddenly I find this waterfall...And I'm just amazed by it's beauty, I'm just left in awe of it, I had to crawl cuz I was so weak, I crawled to it and...I think I died

I can believe that. I think we build on lessons we learned in the past life in hopes of being better people in the next - i.e. not repeating the same mistakes.
