Finally! It took me maybe 2 months on and off... for a total of about 15 hours! I know; that's how long it takes me when I can't make up my mind >_< WAS 23 MB before merging layers, and then it was another 15MB halfway through before the final JPEG image that;'s only 1.33 MB or something like that.

Ah well, anyway- is holding a contest! The original rules were to submit a piece depicting Disney's very own, Captain Amelia! I think Amelia's the shiz, so of course I jumped all over that, even though the jumping had a slo-mo to it that lasted two months, but hey! At least I finally finished! And I personally, and un-modestly, love it!

I wanted to go with a comic style, probably more because I liked the idea, but damned if it didn't give me some excellent experience in paneling, pose, and expression!

And btw... I realllllllly hate Jim after this... ugly lil buggah...
Oh yes, and for those of you curious, the tools in PS7 that I used most were the pen, burn, dodge, and paintbrush tools. I also used a bit of the pencil, just for a tick, the fill tool, the clone stamp tool only on the last panel, and some layer effects like opacity changes and glowing and screening!

And if it says anything for my laziness; in panel 6, Jim is supposed to say "Meteor storm" not Comet storm.... but I don't feel like fixing it... And I KNOW the storyline is just completely useless and has no real plot!!!!!!! I had to give the heads SOMEthing to say!
