Description
Taking a photo of it and then editing it in PS was this thing's only hope. Scanning it was a total loss.That's all I gotta say...
Why can't someone make a scanner that works...
Akeno was MUCH more yellowy-gold than that, not orange... ruined those beautiful horns too...
EDIT: Added Background in PS, it's finished now; I hope I didn't forget anything
These are 's characters, but my art; it was another art trade with meh tradin' buddeh!

Yeah, just a little.. On that picture which I cleverly called "I am a title," I still had to edit the colors a little to get them right.. not as bad as a scanner though.

Very nice! Two questions. Was the blue dragon's tail cut off for a reason, and do you know what those characters mean?

Actually, the blue dragon's tail doesn't appear to be cut off at all
The symbols on the dragons' shoulders mean light and darkness though, I'm pretty sure.
The symbols in the background, I honestly have no idea what they mean.

Yeah, the dragons are pretty much supposed to be exactly the same except for colors, so the tails should look pretty similar too; the fluffy fur stuff just doesn't stand out as much on the sun dragon.
And I'm pretty sure each of the symbols will translate to a word, like love and darkness and other such things.

Actually, the kanji was one massive custom brush in Photoshop; I downloaded it a long time ago, and then whenever you want to use it, just select the brush tool and then select which brush you would like to paint with; when you select this one, it's just one click, and it's there on your page; You can increase your brush size or decrease it as well. That's how I did the tree as well, and the sparklies, and the other single kanji symbols and the grass too; they were all custom brushes and the background was so easy because it just took me a few clicks and each image I wanted was there; kinda like stamps; just pick the stamp you want and click and it's there!

Heh, yes, I have no clue what any of them mean; I have tons of those custom brushes though with Egyptian symbols, some tribal symbols, more kanji, some other japanese symbols... and I don't know what any of 'em mean!

Besides, you'd probably have an easier time of matching the symbols up online anyway
And, hm.. I haven't in a very long while, and when I used to, I believe it was rather my first time and I was quite the amateur with it. What I mean is, I only ever RP-ed with one or two people; one was pretty much my first go at it, and right now I am having a rather slow-going RP on Teripets with someone... I'd say my roleplaying skills aren't very honed due to lack of practice, and much of the RP-ing I did my first time was in a first-person point of view, which I understand isn't usually the way it goes... so, I'm not sure if that fully answered your question, but...

OH and also, I forgot to tell you that Akeno's long whisker-like things are gold and Shiryue's are sky blue. And Akeno's marking under his left eye is orange and Shiryue's marking is pink.
