Description
This is a complete as possible labeled diagram of the outside of a Nova Class Starship. I even labeled specific cabins, such as captain's quarters, first officer, chief medical officer, and chief engineer (the ONLY senior officer to have his quarters in the Engineering Hull, of necessity.) The assignment of quarters is logical, as each officer is close by his department, in case of emergency. The length of the starship IS CANON, according to the Official Star Trek Magazine No. 15 (and elsewhere) by Eaglemoss. According to her designer, TV producer Rick Sternbach, he designed the ship on paper so that it works out to an overall length of 221.74 meters. Voyager is over a hundred meters longer. She's relatively small, but not THAT small, as she has to comfortably support up to 80 crew and passengers for up to a year. A Nova is equipped with a recreation room, a gymnasium, and 2 small holodecks 8x6 meters; I surmise that when Equinox was found, her holodecks were either severely damaged, or she simply couldn't spare the power for them. There are two torpedo launch tubes on the ship, but they both face forward; the torpedoes can then adjust their own trajectory, which is why in that scene of Equinox Part II, the torpedo is fired from the starboard tube, makes a U-Turn, and doubles back to strike Voyager. She's a fine vessel, and the only major change I made in-game was to refit Deck 2 into a large medical department, giving USS Twilight the "Advanced Sickbay Advantage" in the Star Trek game by Modiphius.
