Description
The Fab Four No. 6 – The Horde part two. The innocent citizens
of Helchteren, Belgium have been transformed into the intelligent
virus calling itself the Horde. The Four have been attacked, and
one, Ultimate Power, was actually turned into a Horde, although
very briefly. While under the Horde control, Ultimate Power
discovered what the Horde intentions are, but not why the Fab
Four were singled out, and captured two weeks ago. For more
answers, the team needs to get into their surrounded base, so
the information they've gathered can be fed into the World Wide
Hero Data Network, aka Hero Net. If seen by the Horde, the Four
will be attacked, and harming the Horde is not an option. They
decide to break into two teams, to best assure a success. Tecnicus
will use his power, and create a burrowing devise to gain access
underground, Falcon Heart will accompany him. Arctic Wolf will
go with Ultimate Power, who can do the same via his strength
and speed. From the western and eastern positions the Four
make there way underground to the base cellar, but the Horde
are somehow alerted to both team's movements. Inside the
Base Four, the Horde begin with their sonic assault on Fabs
while still in separate teams. In the west wing, Arctic Wolf and
Ultimate Power are met by the Horde in a stair well. The
wolf boy leaps up to meet the advancing enemy head on, but is
warned by Ultimate Power not to do them harm. Arctic Wolf takes
the metal railing and bends it around the first two Horde on the
steps. Ultimate Power blasts away part of the stair case to stop
the Horde from reaching them. Just before Arctic Wolf can leap
down to his partner's position, he is hit in the face by one of the
Horde's eye beams. Like Ultimate Power before him, Arctic Wolf
becomes a Horde, but not before turning human first. Ultimate
Power flies up and grabs his partner and retreats into their
access tunnel. Meanwhile, Falcon Heart and Tecnicus did manage
to get to the computer lab, and lock the door, which begins to
give way. Tecnicus, the resident computer expert, inputs the data
gathered by the Four. No usable information can be found.
Falcon Heart, who is holding up what's left of the door, instructs
the teen marvel to input the Fab Four's biological profiles into
the computer, along with their acquired data. Tecnicus does so
and a read out appears on the screen, but there's no time to read
it. Tecnicus begins a print out and rushes to help Falcon Heart.
With the door severely damaged, the Horde attacks bombard the
lab with their sonic cries. Both Tecnicus and Falcon Heart are
over come, and fall to the floor. Tecnicus is left on the floor,
ignored by the invaders, but the winged wonder is hit by their
optic beams. Tecnicus creates a dome around his team mate to
shield him from further attack, then uses his power to push back
the Horde still in the lab. Removing the shield so they can escape,
Tecnicus is horrified to see, Falcon Heart is now a Horde. He
gabs the computer print out and crashes through a window to
escape. Outside, Tecnicus sees Ultimate Power skyward holding
on to Arctic Wolf, who he can see is also a Horde. The transformed
Arctic Wolf hits the lad with a louder, howl-like sonic attack which
instantly stuns Tecnicus and he falls earthward. Ultimate Power
is forced to save Tecnicus while still holding the wolf boy, but also
notices a sheet of paper blowing out of Tecnicus' hand. The
boy is falling too fast for Ultimate Power to be concerned. Out of
nowhere, a winged Horde flies in and grabs the unconscious boy
marvel. Ultimate Power realizes it must be his brother, but
Arctic Wolf continues to put up a struggle. What can Ultimate
Power do alone? Why was Tecnicus ignored by the Horde in the
computer lab, and what information is on the read out? Find
out in the final chapter of the Horde in the next exciting
issue of the Fab Four!

Hum, I would have left Wolf since he had already transformed and gone after Tecnicus. their was nothing you could have done for him till you figured out what was causing the transformation.
that is just me but keeping a now enemy close to you weather he was friend or not is a bad move and since they have a hive mind, wolf would be giving his location to the rest of them.
just a lot of rules of the sci-fi/horror/suspense survival guide being broken here, setting yourself up for a huge triumph, but a lot of risks being taken to get there. risks that more vehement comic reader might catch as logic discontinuities and poor writing.

Come on, man...he's one of you! You just don't leave him behind...if you're a big boy scout (which I am) you try to help everyone.
Give it time...I got one more chapter...besides, what do you expect. I'm an artist likes to write...you're the actual writer!

So what if is was one of you, Blaine beats the crap out of Victoria when ever she is possessed by a demonic spirit.
Being a friend is easy being the leader of a team is hard and you have to know when to make the hard decisions for the betterment and completion of the mission.
If being a leader was all about making easy choices everyone would do it, It is the hard chioces that define you as a not just a leader but as a great leader. Knowing when to leave an ally behind when you know you can't help them currently but knowing that leaving them to finish the mission gives you a chance to help them later is a hard decision, but it is one a leader must make.
I am just trying to help, do a little devils advocating and critiquing to make yours the best it can be.

Its appreciated...don't get me wrong, but I can't see myself leaving behind a 17 year old kid I care about.
Ultimate Power is based on me, and my real life personality. So are the other members, based on
Deviants I know. I think my character is more of a boy scout than Superman. Superman would try to
save Robin and Kid Flash if he thought he could. Just sayin'...
