A diet of just fish wouldn't be sustaining enough, need vitamin C, sugars, and all the other goods that comes with fruit. If you look closely they have molar teeth which suggests that they eat something that they need to grind down, so maybe grass or seeds or something as well.

Hmm... I wounder where they would get fruit from. Does fruit grow naturally in russia? England? I think that's a very valuable point about the molars but then again, even house cats have molars. Is it possible that they could get these nutrients from elsewhere?

Hmm let me think, that's a tough one...

All of the vital organs for Night Furies are pressed close to the chest and underbelly, but they do have a high regenerative factor.
The deeper the wound, the more quickly it heals because of this. One of the reasons why Night Furies are worshipped as gods is their ability to appear immortal, hence, "No one has killed a Night Fury".

Oh but they do die if they are hit by fire. The heat damages the repairing cells and they can't do their job, so there's major blood loss. And they would die if something major major happened, like them reaching 400km/h or so and more or less splatting to the ground. Decapitation would cause death. The only part that dosen't have this regenerative ability is the wings, tail fins and face. That's why Scar never recovered from tattered wings and a Scared eye.

As for a spear to the chest... That's a tough one.. The lungs would suffer damage and if it hit the heart then major bleeding would occur. The only way to really save his life would be to pull out the spear as quickly as possible so the hole that it made in the organs would regenerate fast enough to start working and stop massive internal bleeding. Scar would naturally go unconscious because he needs all of his brain to focus on healing the rest of his body. Blood would be everywhere, but inside his body he would be making a massive amount of red blood cells to make up for lost blood. He would probably have to be unconscious for an hour with something like that, so that it can fully heal.

Well...How I think...The Spear Miss The lungs some-kind-of-freak-way...He's Lucky as always...


The Saddle-Belt-Thingy will stop the spear from Going Real far in, Like, To the Heart...

Indeed, it would have the sustenance required for the stuff that they do, Except carbohydrates, but that comes from the mountain mint (dragon nip)

Can also have a sheep, boar or deer or two.
