was holding a Weekly Concept Art Challenge over at her art forum, Running With Scissors.
This was my entry for the 1st week. n.n
Been practicing anatomy a lot lately, and, although i still kinda bodged this, t'was fun. (:

"TEH CHALLENGE!!

A race of humans inhabit the skies above the clouds. In fact, there seems to be a whole ecosystem here. And though it is on Earth it would be hard to believe on first glance: the plants and animals here have evolved to cope with the thin atmosphere and glaring sun. Technology is at about the begginning of the industrial age. Engines are just starting to be put into mass use, though they are large and considerably inefficient. Most people prefer getting around the old way-

but what was it?

YOUR CHALLENGE! : These people had a classic mode of transportation. What was it? Remember, their culture is very different from ours! Be creative! "

Comments: Imagine the wingspan longer? I kinda ran out of room on the page.. n.n'
And, i couldn't really show it, but the seat supports the rider's legs in that position. It's kinda like those wierd office chairs where you're basically kneeling, but it's meant to be ergonomic. I suppose.. >.>
