God it's so clean!! The details are incredible and the water looks absolutely fantastic 
I don't want to critique it, cuz I like it so much 
To create some atmospheric perspective, I think you should have desaturated the background a little. Perhaps by making it look like there is a mist hanging around in the back? A big soft brush with white and very low opacity, lightly layered probably would've done the trick. The rib bones in the front could be blurred a bit to also heighten the perspective, ya know? Also the vines look too green. Brushing on a dark red at a very very low opacity might help this. Oh and do you see that green, almost glow, coming off the vines right above your character's back? Was that on purpose? It doesn't look right to me, hmm.. But overall I really think you've done an excellent job putting us in the eyes of your character and I enjoy looking at this piece.

Thank you very much for the great feedback, you are definately right about the rib case lines, and the BG. I understand what you are telling me and I know the technique with the debth of field you are talking about. I still have the PDF file, so I think I will try it out! Come to think of it, the colours are a bit too flashy at some places, the vines should be toned down. Thank you, it's great to get feedback from someone like you, you always know what you are talking about!

You know what... I just looked, and I still have the psd file if you want to peak in it? I used a wazilion layers for the water, and also very important, reflections... I just mirrored the ground in the water, it all adds up in the end I think. That plus screen and multiply layers for the waves.
Ok, so the PSD file is 144 mb... but if you have dropbox I would be happy to share a folder with you, in fact, it could be fun to share a folder in general so that we could show each other wip's and such, what do you think?

Just download dropbox, it's a small program that creates a folder, that it constantly updates, so that I download everything you put in it, and you do the same whenever I save anything in it. Just get the program, its free to download and use. Then I will create the folder. Just note me with your email once you have it.
