Description The purpose of the previous piece [link] wasn't to ape someone else, but to learn new techs and tricks. I put what I learned to use here.

I can say that this is without question the best drawing I have ever done, art-wise. Not my best piece in total (including humour, effect etc) but definitely the best drawing. Even the original sketch [link] put me in wide-eyed "Holy shit, did I just draw that?".

Why 'El'? Well, she did come just after 'Kei'.

*whistle*

I wasn't sure I believed you when I read your journal. I do now. You're getting into the style range Capitain! Keep it up.

Quick Crit: Your proportions are over all looking real nice. The feet could use a little balancing and maybe repositioning, but overall you've improved tremendously and it shows. Better than anything I can draw for sure.

Also, you're right - her left foot definitely needs a rescale.

Thanks for the comment.

But don't say "Better than I can do." Say "Better than I can do *yet*" - it was only a month ago this would've been far beyond me!

Ever the encouraging word, eh? This is why you've got a lot of friends, you know.

Thanks as always, and of course, still great work!
