It should be noted that, when this was posted on his blog, it was accompanied by the line "Grill your bread products with the mighty power of the ATOM! Please sweep any scraped burnt bits into lead lined bunkers and store for ten thousand years."
I thought that was rather amusing, if a tad inaccurate regarding isotopic decay.
