my scanner always washes out the light shading... the white parts are shaded but you can only tell in the original.

anyway, i did a couple line arts of Lionfire vs Slate a while back and finished one this morning just because. i enjoy the expressions mostly because Slate doesnt seem to be breaking a sweat but Lionfire is struggling. Lionfire is a BIG guy, so you can imagine how strong his female counterpart must be.

Lionfire is from thunderclan, he joined after darkclan disbanded and as it turned out he wasnt a rogue at all, but actually half clan-born (his brother blazestep of riverclan found this out)

Slate has an alliance of rogues she calls the alliance of fire. Fire cleanses everything and that is what she believes she is doing by wiping out the clans completely. she has a vendetta against halfstar for kicking her out of the only place she called home and also against her old friends from darkclan who were accepted into the clans while she was not. the only answer is to do away with their silly code and starclan.

Slate takes some ideals from the legends of scourge and bloodclan. the alliance of fire wear collars with dogs teeth and use dog teeth on their claws as well; a trick from the stories. how a cat obtains such things, we can only guess, but slate did.

After the battle with ShadowClan to liberate it of halfstar, Dawnstar leaves ThunderClan and Lionfire becomes Lionstar. he must lead thunderclan against slate, who is rather irritated that she didnt get to dispatch halfstar herself.
