Dawnstar has gone from sweet an mostly innocent to pretty damn corrupt (thats pretty much what the background is about) She even killed her friend... Good thing Spottedstar has more than one life lol ^^'

Anyway, Dawnstar is sure, through interpretations of messages from StarClan, that she was never meant to become leader. The reason that she is, is that the clan was attacked by huge beasts that killed Redleaf and Elmstar; Elmstar was going to die anyway, but StarClan had set Redleaf to become leader and take Dawnmist as his deputy. So she believes that she should have died a deputy and that Lionfire is the real savior of ThunderClan. She also thinks that Spottedstar would have made a better leader if not for Dawn's leadership along side her. Perhaps things would not have gone so wrong for both of them...

Anyway, Dawnstar will step down and attempt to give her remaining lives back to starclan so that Lionfire can become what Dawn hoped her late son, Dunemask, was supposed to be. She will then leave the clans with her love, Wolfthorn. It will be better that way.
