This... took a lot less time than I was expecting. Probably because I didn't do much touching up and it was lineless. Ah well. I like the result. Could definitely be better, but I'm not too concerned with that right now.I think I've wanted to draw the Magikarp submarine for three years, now. It's just so awesome.

Maybe some practice on the water, but overall, it IS a great piece!
The blend of warm and cold colors, and they look soft not fighting with each other.

Thank you so much! Yeah, looking back, I agree, the water could use some work. I could probably go back and tweak some stuff if I ever do sell this as a print or something.

Yeah, I think they had a Gyarados sub in a few episodes. I want to say "Beach Blank-out Blastoise", because I seem to recall them using a grabby device from the Gyarados sub's mouth in that one. It's mostly been the Magikarp sub, though.
