alternative medicines come from 2 sources. Firstly a basic system of trial and error over an extremely long time and secondly through the belief that these medicines were either working or would work. The problem is we can't tell which is which. It's the task of scientists to basically simulate centuries of trial and error via experimentation to see which alternative medicines were used because they appeared to work instead of those people hoped would. Unfortunately post World War 2 there's been an increasing lack of interest in testing these theories despite some compelling evidence. Essentially scientists are stuck in their ways and would rather rely on what is traditionally believed to work rather than a, trying new things or b, actually checking to see if the knowledge they currently have is correct. How did science stop being science and start being a faith? For an example of how stupid this logic is, in the 90's there was an advert for Vicks Vapors nasal spray that ridiculed the traditional medicine of using mustard paste as a balm on the chest to combat a chesty cough. A few weeks later it was discovered scientifically that it in fact works and Vicks Vapors pulled the ad and started a new product called Vick Vapor Rub, a balm that you put on your chest to cure a chesty cough. Guess what the main ingredient in the balm is. That's right, mustard. The point of science is never to assume but to discover via testing things out. Don't just assume alternative medicines are balony because that's the conventional idea. Look to see whether people who use the product have had positive results. Form your own judgement. That's science.

Sticks was a great character in the Boom series. Cream's reaction here is pretty much what I would imagine for her to have around the crazy badger.Β
Cute artwork as well was amusing.
Bonus points if you came up with that dialogue for Sticks on your own.Β Β

I see. Never watched that show and don't plan to, but the internet praises it a lot. That's about all I know about it.
