Description
Download for full.During a particularly riveting microbiology lecture, I was overcome with the urge to doodle a pair of Elites. I'm proud of this picture for a few reasons: the armor may not be perfectly accurate, but for someone who was doing it from memory, I think I'm getting better.
Drawn on a notebook with a ball-point pen. I never understood why people liked to draw with ball-points until today.
Comments welcome.

Looks pretty nice I quite like ballpoints for the smoother lines myself but don't really draw with them that often, generally only if I don't have another media I prefer with me.

My other option was a red felt-tip marker, which isn't that good for doodling. I'd considered coloring, but in the end I decided it would be too much ink and would probably bleed through and destroy my notes.
Alas. And my messenger bag doesn't have enough room for a sketchbook.

Ballpoint pen work always seems to turn out the best for some reason. I think that it is that knowing that one mistake could mess it all up makes the outcomming so much better.

Not just that, but the actual linework just came out so much better, like the quality and thickness and variability of color. I might start doing drafts in ballpoint if I can maintain this kind of quality.

I know, I've been meaning to update things to dA, but life has just been crazy. I'm working on the 2,000+ hits artwork, though, and writing and revising fervently to finish Institution.
I've got a few days off for Thanksgiving, so I should be able to spend some time on XBL.

Yep, I'm working on your request as well. It's just slow-going.
How is the "new XBL experience"? I haven't heard anything about it.

Well comrade it is quite interesting! Avatars are neat and the party system is just plain awesome! I mean now on Halo you can have a party of 8 and no button pressing! And it blocks out everyone else so you only talk to your party.
Plus you can party up on different games. I was talking to my friend on gears while I was playing WaW! It is confusing at first since it is new of course but yet easily get used to it.
And as for the request right on dude! I owe you one and don't worry. I understand delays. College- life is a headache.
