I know what you’re thinking and yes, this is because Disney bout Fox, and because Sliver Samurai was a member of Big Hero 6 in the comic and it's not likely that the MCU will ever us him, so this only made sense. I don't know how this would work, I guess you could tie the story into his family in the Japanese Yakuza (or something like that, maybe even bring back Mr. Yama) and Big Hero 6 must help him overcome his family heritage and become a member of "now" Big Hero 7.
