What an interesting angle! The stalk of the plant looks like it's covered in strange looking caterpillars or something. Quite intriguing.

Dang girl, for a minute there I thought I got a DD with all the comments... I'm glad you like it, it was a great excuse to lay on the ground for a minute....

Haha, oh yes. Sorry about that. But you deserve a DD I think! I enjoy going through whole galleries at a time if I find something I really like. One of your snake pics was featured in a friend's journal and that was what originally caught my eye. ^_^

Thanks, I used to dip the fried ones in sour cream, my landloard/restraunt owner used to cringe...

Ooh, I love tostones (fried green plantains). Great angle on this shot. From the devwatch I thought it was a catepillar or something until I saw the name, lol.

I love them too, with a splash of hot sauce

I love the subtle depths in your shots, and the way you find the strangest angles. This is sweet, no other way to put it.

Thanks, I see straight on shots all the time, so I try to get above or below my subjects whenever possible just to be different...

that's fun, and nice shades of green...and plantains are lovely fried with hot spices like potato crisps...well I like them because I can eat them, as I'm allergic to banana's...still risk being sick for flambΓ©ed banana's though

Oh yea, I used to live above a Puerto Rican restaurant in the day, and the owner was always giving them to me with those round potato/hamburger things

Great angle, and the light worked well for you (or you worked the light well)

Lol, actually I had the tripod lowered way down and got on my knees to get that angle, thought I was going to have to lay on the ground

People tend to look at you as though you've completely lost it when you do that......
