Description
Can you draw? You can pattern draft. This is my technique for making patterns, I hope it'll help any future plush makers int thier craft.Final of this pattern:
The design the plush was based on is featured here~ : and is part of a CTA being put on by , I made this tutorial for anyone who wanted to have a go at this fellow and did not know how to make plushies or patterns. Of course, in the end I'd like to win him ;D BUT! It'll be no fun if people don't get to join because they don't know the things I do. So go! Go forth and make your creations!
Note: This is not my entry, my entry will be the finalized plush of this chara, I just wanted to get this out early to let people learn in time to try it out~

could you make another one for say, a feral character? :0 I know you already made this plush and were probably doing it as you went along but I'd find it more helpful if it were!! regardless though this is a good tutorial, it is helpful <3

I would probably apply the same technique I used here, there would probably be more test modes, but I'd use a ref like this:
and treat the under belly as the front side of the creature, and the sideviews as the back~
If I ever do another plush of feral variety I will look into doing a tutorial.

You're so sweet for putting this up and sharing it!
It's been so long since I made my own pattern for anything, and having a place to start is so nice.
I bet you've gotten the creative juices of a lot of people flowing!
