"Let me grab my equipment case, the things I need to set up home base, and then we can leave."

Makenzie grabbed a travel case that was sitting nearby.

"I'm ready, when you are, sir."

"Do you know where we're going?" Brian asked. It was a test. A test to see just how much this machine knew about him already.

"I do. Shall I lead the way?"

"By all means." Brian motioned toward the door.

As they walked the short distance from the office complex to the housing compound, Brian marveled at this machine, his new assistant, Makenzie. he had read about the advances made in the technology used to manufacture these units and had found it hard to believe they could live up to the hype. However, as they neared his new home, he could feel the doubts starting to fade.

Brian was only just beginning to realize how his life would change...
