Probably not any time soon. And the "Abrams Universe" the OGaM universe are separate alternate universes that split off the "Prime Universe".
The "Abrams Universe" came about, because James T. Kirk's father was killed (also, it seems his older brother, George Samuel Kirk Jr., was never born).
The OGaM universe came about because James T. Kirk's mother was killed, before he was ever born, thus erasing him from history. This happened due to something that happened in the "Prime Universe", but I won't say in an open forum, due to spoilers.
