Description The Ann Talbot Class Diplomatic Cruiser is another design by me. As part of my "S.S." series of ships.

Designed for opulance, and luxury. The Ann Talbot is more a luxury liner, than a military starship.

Catering to the needs of ambassadors of any race, or culture. Weather taking ambassadors to a conferance, or hosting one. This ship can be the perfect choice.

With various rec rooms, gardens, and observation decks. Diplomats, and their guests will find plenty to do.

She even sports dance halls. Perfect for diplomatic dinners, fancy dress balls, or just to do the Charelston.

However, as a diplomatic ship, she has no offencive, or defencive capabilities, save her advanced shield generators. And thus must rely on escort.

Do it's basically a giant pinata filled with candy. Still, cool design, if a little cumbersome. It would definitely work as a carrier.

Agility wasn't a consideration, given her duties. She'd only be deployed in areas that were either safe, or where she'd be heavily protected. The only time you'd find a combat capable Diplomatic Cruiser, is if the ship was a combat ship ACTING as one (i.e. the various Enterprises)

True on all counts. And if she's traveling with a couple of Akula s, not much would try and threaten her deep in Federation territory.

This is a really interesting design Capt, I really like what you've done with this one. I should think with a few modifications, this could make a really sweet looking carrier ship.

Thanks! Probably would. She's big enough.

Actually, it looks like two Pacmen eating the same hotdog and coming together like the two dogs in Lady and the Tramp.

The grey modules in the middle section... are they the shield generators?

I'm not compleatly sure. On ships with elongated hulls, like the Miranda, they're in line with the shuttle bays. So I used them. Though, that would make sense, as the bays tend to be shielded.

There's a little square in the middle of the top. What is that?

It's a dorsal landing hatch / cargo access.
