Description
The Congress Class Cruiser is a design by myself.I was attepting to come up with a light Thru-Deck Cruiser, that had no secondary hull. While putting as much firepower into as compact a frame as possable. I think I got the second part.
Fast, manuverable, and sporting enhanced shields, to make up for the gaping holes in the saucer.
I had difficulties with naming her. So I called her Congress, do to the large openings, for and aft. As such, I came up with the registry as the date of the first Contenental Congress conviened....03/04/1789

Because of the representation? Or does it mean something else to you?

The representation, it was probably one of the few good Congresses we had

Definitely one of the better "thru-decks" that I've seen.
Yours is attractive, for one thing....
Saucer looks a bit funky, but I've taken bites like that out of the front before, myself.

A logical design, reducing as much weight as possible plus giving her firepower.
